Started under the pioneership of Mr. Murli Dhar Roongta, and established in 1968, there are a few sectors that the Rungta Group has not covered. Since its inception, the Rungta Group has achieved a great deal in sectors such as import and export, as well as the processing of food grains such as wheat, rice, flour, pulses, soya oil, sunflower oil, and pallet feeds. We were in the trade sector until 2004-2005 when we progressively grew to open a state-of-the-art flour and rice mill in 2008 which was also the same year that we began manufacturing poultry pellet feed. Recently, the group has ventured towards being a complete poultry farming solution with our very own poultry hatchery and has been taking new strides in the FMCG industry with the addition of solvent extraction with a proper refinery to produce various cooking oils.
Over the years, we have established ourselves as trustworthy and dependable partners for doing business in Nepal while also being promoters in the Banking and Infrastructure sector through the trust and goodwill of all stakeholders, colleagues, society, and the nation.

Shiv Kumar Roongta

Over 47 years ago, Mr. Shiv Kumar Roongta embarked on his journey with Rungta Group, when the group gor into the import export business. During those times, he used to travel to Kathmandu to open LC and return to birgunj in the same day as banks in Birgunj didn’t have the authority to open LC. He has helped the group reach multiple business fronts by diversifying the group’s business across many sectors rather than simply increasing reach, this meant seeking new routes and opportunities for venturing the group into.
Mr. Shiv Kumar is a shrewd negotiator and is highly efficient. He deals with the finances of the group and can single handedly handle task of seven people.

Suresh Kumar Roongta

Mr. Suresh Kumar Roongta, has been involved with Rungta group from the very beginning. Right after his graduation, he has been handling the overall operations of the group. Being dedicated in Agro, Poultry, FMCG & Trading, our group deals with different accounts from our different ventures. Mr. Suresh has been the key figure in dealing with those accounts.
Being a visionary, Mr. Suresh since the inception of the group has been heavily involved in CSR, heading different CSR projects under the Rungta Welfare. He's also working with PR managers to maintain and uplift the face of our different businesses.

Pradeep Roongta

Mr. Pradeep Roongta, our chairman, has been associated with Rungta Group for the past 30 years and in those years, with his leadership he has steered the Group through its meteoric rise. With a belief in “commitment to quality”, Mr. Pradeep Roongta, has always addressed the need of the customer. This has been seen in how our Feed Mill and Breeding Farm have always taken customer trust to be our greatest assets.
Mr.Pradip oversees the operation of all the Industry the Group has a foothold in while also directing and analyzing new opportunities. He’s mainly focused on handling the overall Business and Operations of our Entire Group.

Rajesh Roongta

Mr. Rajesh Roongta, who has over 15 years of managerial experience, joined the family business in 2006 after the completion of his MBA. Since then, he has expanded the group’s business to newer ventures. He began his career at Rungta by managing the supply chain of our Rice Mills, and has now envisioned creation of new profit centers for the group.
Mr. Rajesh also oversees all business development opportunities for the group and is heavily involved now with professional management teams to ensure smooth operations of newly established set ups while not disrupting other process flows that are in place in the group.

Narayan Roongta

Mr. Narayan Roongta has joined the Group in the year 2009 after completing his master’s degree in MSC Finance from Leeds Business School. With a wealth of knowledge in every sector of the industry be it banking, insurance, manufacturing, purchase/ sales, he has been a cornerstone in driving the business to newer heights.
Mr. Narayan aims to establish Rungta group as one of the premier and the most top level industrial producer in the country.

Having joined the family business in the year 2005, Mr. Sudhir has since, managed the business and properly implemented a system for its smooth operation. Being a Bachelor in Business Information System, Mr. Sudhir greatly understood the need and the implication of having a proper system for business and has ever since been heavily reinforcing the need for creating the system for smooth operation.
With his own goals and vision always being aligned with providing quality products, he has played a monumental role in helping Rungta group reach its heights.

After graduating B.Tech from MNNIT Allahbad, Mr. Aakash Rungta began his career at Rungta Group in 2011. With experience and working knowledge of many technicalities of industrial productions, he started to manage the operations of our Poultry Feed Unit and our Solvent Extraction and Refinery Unit. Over the period of his work, he has established and guided these units to become growth drivers and perform to its maximum capability.
Mr. Aakash is also heavily involved in expanding our business venture by creating and expanding production on different industrial units while also managing the currently operating unit.
